CONTRARY to reports issued the other week saying that Kris Aquino’s noontime show on ABS-CBN with action star Robin Padilla, has been junked, the show -- "Pilipinas, Win na Win!" – will air its pilot episode on July 31.

Kris and Robin Padilla will be joined by co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang. 

In a statement, ABS-CBN said: "Ilulunsad na ng ABS-CBN ang isang bagong noontime show sa Sabado, July 31. Ito ang ‘Pilipinas, Win na Win!’ na pagtatampukan nina Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang, and Kris Aquino. Ang programa ay isang game-variety show na tiyak na magbibigay sigla at pag-asa sa mga Pilipino saan man panig ng mundo.

"Ang 'Pilipinas, Win na Win' ang papalit sa 'Wowowee'. Si Willie Revillame sa pamamagitan ng kanyang manager na si Arlene de Castro, ay nasabihan na tungkol sa pagbabagong ito. Napaalam na rin kay Willie ang programang pinaplano para sa kanya at ito raw ay ipapahayag ng network sa takdang panahon.

"Ang 'Pilipinas, Win na Win' ay pamunuan nina Direk Johnny Manahan, Creative Director Bobot Mortiz, Business Unit Head Jay Montelibano, Executive Producers Phoebe Anievas, and Rancy Recato. Ito ay mapapanood pagkatapos ng 'Showtime'.”

Speaking of Kris Aquino, an entertainment blog uploaded last Wednesday heightened rumors that she is pregnant. The blog administrators said their information came from a "reliable source" whom they did not identify.

In the afternoon of Wednesday, Kris slammed the rumor, sending a text message to a reporter denying the rumor with finality. Kris sent the message from the United States, where she is on vacation with her two sons Joshua and Baby James. She left behind her husband, basketball star James Yap, marriage with whom she is planning to annul.

To quote Kris's text message:

"I find the news about my pregnancy hilariously vicious. I had to ask both Deo and Boy -- sino raw ang tatay? Deo has already replied about my check up with D. Pastorfide for my cervical cancer screening because of my cervical cancer vaccine endorsement. I have a period tracker app on my iPhone. Just had my period in Orlando, July 18 in the US, and had it until we were in Boston.
