MARIVELES, Bataan
– This town’s former plaza has been converted into a covered court with
multiple purposes, benefiting the residents here.
Funded for P5 million that was
jointly initiated by Gov. Enrique “Tet” Garcia, Rep. Abet S. Garcia and Mayor
Jesse I. Concepcion, the covered court has been utilized also for meetings,
gatherings, programs and public forum. The residents here can also use the hall
even during typhoons, since it was designed as an all-weather facility.
“The Covered court can now be used
even during rainy days and scorching heat of the sun since it was already
designed to an all-weather facility. The public can now use it daily and even
during night time,” pointed out Municipal Administrator Luis Gonzales.
Meanwhile, Mayor Concepcion is
rushing the rehabilitation of the roads around Barangay San Carlos, the most
populous area here and center for commerce.
The said rehabilitation of the
road is expected to be finished before the town’s fiesta by the end of this
month.
Aside from this, a lot of
infrastructure projects are also being rushed by the municipality, said Concepcion.
